The name EHSAN Trading PLC didn't come into existence until 2019. EHSAN traces its roots back to the renowned businessman "Haji Mohammed Yusuf." He had started the business in 1960. From the inception of the business until 2003, he was trading consumption goods and finished clothes. During the business operation, the children have gained inspiration, experience and skills of doing business from their father, "Haji Mohammed Yusuf."
Then, the children established a small vehicle parts retail shop at Dessie with 4 M2 of space shared from the boutique shop in 2003 under the name HITACH vehicle parts shop. Step by step, all 7 brothers get involved in the business operation.
Over the last 20 years, the 7 brothers have strongly worked together and the business has scaled up from retailing spare parts in Dessie to importing and distributing vehicles and spare parts throughout the country. Through exerting great effort and commitment, the 7 brothers make HITACH, recently named "ETACH," one of the most renowned vehicle and spare part suppliers in Ethiopia. This accumulated capital and experience push the owners to consider diversifying the business and looking for new business arrangements. For the purpose of expanding and diversifying the business sector, the 7 brothers came together and established EHSAN Trading PLC in 2019.
